Generalitat President Ximo Puig, after meeting with the people responsible for the Frankfurt Fair, suggested that a space has been opened for cooperation with the institution hosting the Heimtextil competition. The President visited Heimtextil, which is held during the winter months and sets a benchmark in home textiles and related products both worldwide and in Europe. There he held a meeting with Messe Frankfurt manager Detlef Braun, accompanied by representatives of the Valencian Community Textile Entrepreneurs Association; Olaf Schmidt, vice president of the Textile and Textile Technologies division, and Elena Echaniz, manager of Messe Frankfurt Spain.
Ximo Puig emphasized that: The meeting made it possible to establish a line of cooperation with the German fair association.As part of the “new fair vision” supported by Generalitat, it organizes this major fair in winter to promote the Valencia event in September as an international textile showcase at another time of the year.
