According to him, a unit of the Rivne NPP is undergoing major repairs.
DTEK estimates that electricity will turn on at 22:00 Moscow time.
Earlier, the company “Sumyoblenergo” reported the start of emergency power cuts in the Sumy region of Ukraine. The information is published on the official website of the enterprise.
It is noted that the current consumption of electricity exceeds the limit provided by the Sumy region “Ukrenergo”. The emergency shutdown mode was introduced in addition to the hourly shutdown schedules at the behest of Ukrenergo.
Before that, the national energy company “Ukrenergo” declaration about possible emergency power outages in the country on the backdrop of increased electricity consumption due to severe frosts.
It is noted that electricity consumption in Ukraine has increased since the beginning of 2023 due to the decrease in air temperature and the increase in the consumption of industry and business.
