You should devote time to specific exercises to regain concentration and improve your cognitive abilities, Yulia Bakhonskaya, a senior lecturer and practicing psychologist at the SPbPU Institute of Humanitarian Aid Engineering Pedagogy, Psychology and Applied Linguistics told socialbites.ca.
“You can draw with both hands, walk around with your eyes closed, write with your non-working hand, or find a new definition of a well-known topic. Such unconventional exercises trigger the production of dopamine, so we begin to feel satisfied with an already bored task. It is necessary to experiment regularly: perform routine tasks with a new method, change the schedule of the day, reverse the usual tasks, ”says Bakhonskaya.
Bakhonskaya also noted that if you do such exercises every day, you can see the result very soon – the brain will work more efficiently.
