The growth of cybercrime, which has continued in Russia in recent years, has been reported to be halted in 2022. TASS With reference to the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation.

According to the agency, the rate of increase in crime related to the use of information technology slowed in 2021, and in 2022 they recorded a downward trend in the number of such acts.

The Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office reported that in the 11-month period of 2022, the number of cybercrimes decreased by 4.9% compared to the same period of the previous year, from 494.1 thousand to 470.1 thousand.
