According to preliminary information, on Monday, December 26, a mother strangled her three children to death in an apartment on Bazhov Street in Yekaterinburg. The press service of the investigative department of the Sverdlovsk region of the Investigative Committee of Russia reported that a criminal case was opened about the incident. Two boys, aged 15 and 10, and a five-month-old girl died.
“A criminal case has been brought for an offense under Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“The murder of two or more minors”),” the ministry said.
The identities of the deceased children and their mothers born in 1985 were determined. My mother was on maternity leave. A source familiar with the situation told KP-Yekaterinburg that the woman was found lying on the bodies of the children. She also noted that the mother wrote an SMS telling her relatives what had happened.

Familiar acquaintances also reported that the father of the children worked in law enforcement and retired three years ago.
Neighbors state that loud music was playing in the apartment on 24 December and therefore they appealed to the family to avoid making noise. It was recorded that the prayers and cries of one of the children from the apartment were also heard: “I want to live! I don’t want to die!”
Another neighbor, Ekaterina, told the portal E1.Ru that the previous day there was noise from the apartment.
“The previous day there were strong blows, as if someone were being kicked out of school. I thought for the demonic screams there. “Stop, stop!” they shouted. We wanted to call the police but I thought it was blasphemy. Then everything calmed down, I think okay, we argued and argued ”

A friend of the deceased 15-year-old told the portal E1.Ru that the situation in the family seemed safe from the outside. He noted that, according to the general impression, he did not know his mother and did not see her, everything seemed to be fine in the family.
“The boy was calm, went to a photo circle. His parents, who came from a good family, were also kind. The younger brother was also good-natured. They were dressed, enough expensive things. I saw them traveling with their family and they went to a different place with their father,” said the young man.
