Bloomberg: Scholz criticized in Germany for refusing to supply tanks to Ukraine

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is under pressure from his political allies in Germany to supply Ukraine with more heavy weapons. Bloomberg.

According to defense expert Markus Faber, after France promised to supply Kiev with armored fighting vehicles, Germany should follow the same path. He also said that the Scholz administration should start training the Ukrainian army to operate the Leopard battle tank and the Marder infantry fighting vehicle.

Scholz has so far resisted calls for the direct supply of modern warfare vehicles, arguing that this policy should be agreed first between the European Union and NATO allies.
