The Belarusian State Border Committee announced periodic provocations from Ukraine at the border. It has been reported telegraph channel Board.
It was noted that the last case of provocation occurred at the simplified Poddobryanka checkpoint. It was reported that “the soldiers of the neighboring state pointed their weapons at the border guards”.
The Belarusian border committee said that the border control units acted prudently and did not succumb to provocations. The Committee reported that in cooperation with the Ministry of Emergencies and the Red Cross, the necessary conditions were created on the border with Belarus for the reception, heating and passage of Ukrainian refugees.
They also said gunshots were heard “both single and in bursts” from time to time on the territory of the neighboring state.
“Heavy machinery sounds are heard. Based on a survey of those crossing the border, a Belarusian official from the border control department said that an anti-tank ditch up to three meters deep and three to four meters wide was dug on the territory of the neighboring state, ”said a Belarusian official.
The representative of the border service added that at the moment special attention is paid to monitoring the airspace and approaches to checkpoints.
