According to the department, at 8:49 p.m., in the 70th house in building 1 on the Oktyabrskaya Embankment, a Volkswagen car-share car flew into the opposite lane and collided with a Skoda car.

An 81-year-old woman, a 23-year-old young man and two women, 51 and 54 years old, were taken to the hospital seriously in the accident, which was of moderate severity. st. Petersburg Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that two more victims refused to be hospitalized.

According to preliminary information, the perpetrator of the accident was the driver of the carsharing, who was drunk behind the wheel.
