Burnout is a syndrome caused by chronic stress. Burnout is accompanied by a feeling of energy and physical exhaustion, distance from friends and decreased productivity. In addition, people who experience burnout also complain about the formation of “fog” in their heads.
Analyzing many studies on this syndrome, the scientist came to the conclusion that perfectionists are most prone to burnout. Such people set themselves super-tasks that are difficult to fulfill. Therefore, as the goal is not fully achieved, stress levels increase and the desire to work decreases.
The scientist hopes to present the details of the results obtained as a result of the review of research on the syndrome in his book.
