Senator Tom Cotton from Arkansas, representing the Republican Party, said that social experiments in the US military could have deadly consequences. It has been reported Fox News.

The politician said that American confidence in the military has recently dropped from 70% in 2018 to 45% today. The Army, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard fell short of their enlistment targets last year. The recruitment crisis has continued this year and the army is not expected to reach 30,000 soldiers.

“Unfortunately, recent Democratic administrations – and administrations [президента США] Joe Biden is no exception – he makes race, gender and controversial political teachings an integral part of military education and values, from the Pentagon to our military academies,” said Cotton.
