Ukraine insists on expulsion of Russia from UN
Ukrainian Presidential adviser Mikhailo Podoliak insisted on Tuesday that Russia should be removed from all United Nations organs, as he felt “fatal mistakes should be corrected”.
Podoliak made this statement on his official profile on the social network Twitter, where he assured Russia that it was “illegally” taking part in the United Nations Security Council and was “encroaching” its veto power.
“Whether due to corruption or legal negligence, the Russian Federation usurped its ‘veto right’ and systematically destroyed international legal and security systems,” said Podoliak, calling for law enforcement and respect for the United Nations Charter.
With this publication made by the chief adviser of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, he once again insists on the demand for Russia’s expulsion from both the UN Security Council and the entire UN.
