A psychopath differs from an ordinary person in that he cannot empathize and repent, but is also characterized by deception and selfishness. About this in a conversation with FAN said psychiatrist Yevgeny Kulgavchuk. At the same time, according to him, it is often impossible to immediately recognize a citizen with psychopathy – he goes to work, walks with a dog, surfs social networks and is not much different from others.
“Because psychopaths lack empathy, they often include sadists. Such men are sometimes seen from childhood. For example, they may torture helpless animals, try to humiliate their peers, and engage in bullying. They can be registered with the police from school age, which is really justified, because many of them are potential criminals in the future, ”the expert said.
He added that psychopathy is five times more common in men than women, and that the rate of people with this disorder can reach 25 percent in the criminal environment.
Galina Kharkova, formerly a psychiatrist at the Empathy Center for Mental Health in Moscow saidThat the constant urge to take selfies at the gym and post your photos on social networks may indicate increased anxiety. He posted photos online, explaining that people wanted to enlist the support of others.
