The 17-year-old’s body was found at the Toledo landfill where the state’s waste is managed, and they are now looking for his 11-year-old cousin, Ángel, who went missing with him.

Two children disappeared after one went shopping with their father to a supermarket. According to a family complaint, the man was absent for a moment to break into a nearby laundromat. The supermarket’s security cameras show them walking out the back door of the business together.
Later, they took the subway and at least as far as the Marqués de Vadillo station, where their traces were lost.
Police operated on the assumption that the minors initially disappeared voluntarily, but then the situation could get complicated and an adult might have taken them into custody.
