Alexander Shalpuk, head of the fourth department of the main organization and mobilization department of the General Staff of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus, announced the issuance of mobilization orders to those responsible for military service, reconciling credentials in the country’s military register and registry offices. According to Shalpuk, the regulations in no way restrict the movement of citizens or anything else, only assigning those responsible for military service to “a particular military unit within a particular military unit”.
He emphasized that the previous reports in the media regarding the preparations for a kind of military operation are not reliable. Shalpuk also noted that not everyone gets prescriptions, only those who are “needed for a particular military unit according to the military expertise they receive”.
