Andriy Nebytov, chief of the National Police in the Kyiv region, said that special cameras and sensors that can detect enemy missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles will be installed at Ukrainian power stations. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Nebytov stated that the camera and sound sensors will detect unmanned aerial vehicles or missiles at a certain distance and inform the air defense forces.

“We are following the development path because the capital is behind us and this is the place for security innovations,” the head of the National Police commented.

According to him, video surveillance devices that are not yet available in Ukraine have already been installed in the Chernobyl zone. It is reported that this allows you to record all observations even at night.

There is a significant electricity shortage in Ukraine. The situation is complicated by weather conditions: snow, ice and strong winds.
