The flu vaccine campaign in Russia has been completed. This was announced by the head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, whose words were quoted. TASS.
“The vaccination campaign in the country has been completed,” said Popova, adding that it is “too late and not necessary” to be vaccinated.
The head of the department pointed out that “in addition to the increase in influenza, there is an increase in covid” in the country.
“Like no other country on the planet, we have not been able to completely rid ourselves of this virus, and now there is a slight but still uptrend, a seasonal increase. [заболеваемости] new coronavirus infection,” Popova added.
Speaking about the swine flu, the Minister noted that there are enough medicines for this disease in the country.
