A court in the Leningrad Region overturned the decision of a local resident who had previously performed alternative civil service to call for military service for partial mobilization. It has been reported TASS with reference to his lawyer, Alexander Peredruk.
“The court satisfied the administrative claim and outlawed the decision to enlist Pavel Mushumansky for mobilization,” he said.
According to him, Mushumansky completed an alternative civil service at a psycho-neurological boarding school in Kingisepp in 2019-2021.
Court for the first time in Russia before suspended the decision to conscript a citizen as part of partial mobilization. Lawyer Pavel Chikov announced this on his Telegram channel.
According to him, a man called up for mobilization applied for alternative civil service but was rejected. In this regard, he filed a lawsuit to challenge the legality of the decision of the military commissioner and military service board.
