Finnish President Sauli Niiniste sees no obstacles to the training of the Ukrainian army in Finland. He stated this at a press conference Tuesday in Nurmes, North Karelia, where Finnish troops held exercises Kontio 22. TASS.

“I see no obstacles to the education of Ukrainians, but this issue should be approached wisely,” said the head of state. He pointed out that the Finns could train the Ukrainians to use various weapon systems that they had previously handed over to them.

Niiniste stated that he does not expect any significant progress towards joining NATO of the two Scandinavian countries during the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Finland, Sweden and Turkey in Bucharest.

The Foreign Ministers of Iceland, Norway, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland and Sweden have pledged support in Ukraine’s preparation for winter.
