Russian teams (in two age groups: juniors and high school students) were formed according to the results of the summer training camps held in June among the winners and winners of the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren.
It was noted that senior and junior Russian teams participated in the tournament remotely, using supervision from their own regions. Teams from 20 countries participated in the tournament. At the same time, all eight students in the senior and junior teams of the Russian Federation received awards.
As noted by the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov, at the international IT tournament in Bulgaria, the children demonstrated a high level of knowledge.
“I am confident that in the future they will continue to develop their skills, applying the knowledge they have acquired at school. We are constantly working to develop the abilities of schoolchildren, including in various fields of IT. Many projects are implemented, from creating engineering classes to attracting children to additional courses in computer science and robotics. I will especially note the team coaches who invested their efforts in the preparation of the men. The result shows other schoolchildren: to win, to glorify your school and country, you need to work hard and not stop there,” he added.
