ERTE, the Temporary Employment Regulation File, was a term that entered our dictionary during the pandemic process. Numerous companies decided that this was the most appropriate work arrangement formula for this exceptional situation, and many workers were forced to use this remedy.
Now these workers receive a letter home from the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy through the Public State Employment Service (SEPE). unemployment benefits payment.
In the letter, “the unemployment benefit you have received or are receiving as a result of being included in the Temporary Employment Regulation File (ERTE) due to the effects of covid-19, It will be co-financed by the European Union.through Multi-Regional Operational Programs with ESPE as the Intermediary”.
The letter states (in bold) that “this fact has no economic repercussions for you, nor does it mean that an additional amount has been paid or perceived in any way to what you have already received or will receive”. Likewise, communication just informative and exclusively for the purpose of complying with the obligation required by the Community regulations of communication to beneficiaries of assistance from the European Union”.
Finally, they specify an email ([email protected]) to which they can be contacted for any clarification or doubt.
