From November 22 to November 23, a youth forum “Mental Health” was held in the Lugansk People’s Republic within the framework of the “Smart Route” educational project of the Russian society “Knowledge”. During this time, the project team held 15 lessons and master classes.
It was noted that experts appeared program, including the most relevant topics for young people: life balance, a healthy lifestyle, interaction with others, ability to cope with anxiety and stress, self-esteem, human energy resources. A total of 300 people attended the Mental Health Forum.
The main topics of the first part of the forum were a discussion about the relationship between physical and mental health. Participants were told about ways to maintain life balance and were given a lecture on psychological stability and resilience.
The second part of the forum included master classes and interactive lectures by speakers. For example, an ambulance attendant Vladimir Varnavsky, author of the largest blog on this medical service, showed clear methods that help reduce anxiety and gain inner peace. In contrast, cognitive-behavioral psychologist Lyudmila Saulina, current expert at the Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy Association, spoke about emotional hygiene and also taught participants how to experience emotions in an environmentally friendly way, how to use emotion charts, and how to experience them empathetically. sympathy and not self-destruct.
In addition, an interactive conference on self-confidence and self-love was held at the forum. And the forum concluded with a lecture on tools for creating a positive strategy for life, stress, anxiety, chronic fatigue, procrastination, and techniques that enable you to find and develop your personality strengths.
The next education forum “Smart route. Mental Health” event will be held in November 2022 in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Zaporozhye region.
