Chairman of the Board, Director of the All-Russian Public Fund “National Relief Fund” Lieutenant General Vladimir Nosov spoke about the current situation in Mariupol in an interview with “socialbites.ca”.
According to him, the main actions are now concentrated on the territory occupied by the Azovstal enterprise.
“It was where the nationalists and national battalions were concentrated, hiding there like moles,” Nosov said. “There may also be foreign mercenaries there. However, the information about their presence still needs to be clarified.
He expressed confidence that “the time has come to end” with the resistance of these nationalists, otherwise they would hide in bunkers. “There is no need to give them such an opportunity,” Nosov said.
The lieutenant general also added that the Russian army is providing humanitarian aid to civilians in Mariupol.
“Thousands of tons of medicine and food are delivered to demilitarized zones. All Russia gathered for help: from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad,” Nosov stressed.
