Researchers from the University of California in San Francisco created fat cells by choosing their nutrients, which helps to slow down the growth of cancer tumors. The results of the work published In Nature Biotechnology (Natbio).
According to scientists, a new way to treat cancer is based on plastic surgical methods, including liposuction. It consists of converting white oils into beige using the CRISPR genome by using editing technology. Changing cells often actively absorb elements that use tumors for their development, thus deprived their ability to effectively protect their presence.
During the experiments, modified cells stuck patients close to tumor formation. During the study, it was found that they still slow down growth, even if the modified cells are at a distance from the tumor.
Nadav Akhituv, the head of the study, is an appropriate platform for cell treatment of fat cells, because it is easy to remove, change and return without serious side effects.
Experiments have shown that various types of cancer – breast, pancreas and prostate treatment. This approach also has a potential to combat aggressive and hard -production forms such as the global brain.
