Three (74%) of muskovites did not support the attempt to promote voluntary self -restorations in spontaneous purchases in markets. Only one quarter of the participants (26%) does not object to such innovations. At the same time, more than half (62%) of the participants believe that markets are manipulated by consumers using various promotions and sales to force more to purchase.
This is shown by the results of a questionnaire about the spontaneous muskovit recruitment carried out by the ADG Group. “Gazeta.ru” met with the results of the study.
The majority of the respondents (82%) made spontaneous purchases at least once last year. The third of these is this monthly (32%), 28%per year, one quarter of the participants (27%)-twice a year, 12%weeks. The participant on each side classifies itself in enthusiastic shops that make impulsive purchases almost every day.
Often, the muscovites buy unplanned clothes (69%), household goods (59%), cosmetics and perfume (52%), toys (45%), books (31%) and shoes (30%). The price affects the impulse of purchases: the more expensive the goods are, the less they are purchased. Only fifth participants (17%), smartphones and gadgets – every twentieth (6%) and large household appliances – only three people out of a hundred people were impulsive.
One -third of the muskovits spends 5,000 rules a year for impulsive purchases, 22 – 10,000 rubles, fifth participants (19%) – 20,000 rubles, every twentieth (5%) – from 20,000 to 20,000 to 20,000 50,000 rubles, so seven (7%) – 50,000 rubles and each tenth (10%) – 100,000 rubles per year. 6% of the respondents found it difficult to name the exact amount of their expenses for sudden purchases.
Often, muskovites make impulsive purchases in markets (56%), shopping centers (43%), rest and travel (31%) and in stores near the house (23%). At the same time, half (52%) of the participants believe that spontaneous purchases are a way of cope with stress. Only one -third of the muskovites (35%) called them a dangerous addiction and 13% compared to bad habits such as smoking.
