The North Atlantic Alliance fleet is massing off Estonia to protect European submarine cables and pipelines in the Baltic Sea. A British newspaper writes about this Guard.
“A Dutch frigate and a naval research ship, as well as a German minesweeper, arrived in Tallinn under the dense sea fog of January,” the publication writes.
A French minesweeper and additional NATO ships are also expected to arrive.
“In the near future the group will expand, more ships will join us, so ultimately there will be about six to seven ships,” Belgian task force head Eric Cox said.
