Syrsky admitted that Ukraine could not intercept Oreshnik 01/19/2025, 23:59

The Ukrainian Armed Forces do not have the capability to intercept the Russian medium-range hypersonic missile of the Oreshnik complex. This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky in an interview with the TSN TV channel.

“We don’t have them yet (Oreshnik – meaning takeover of socialbites.ca),” he said.

Shortly before this, British military analyst Alexander Mercouris wrote on his YouTube blog: reportedThat the use of Oreshnik in combination with other missile systems will cause unimaginable destruction. He called the combination “absolutely appalling.”

On November 21, 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a special speech following attacks by American ATACMS and British Storm Shadow missiles on targets in Russia. The head of state said that in response to the actions of Western countries, Russia hit the Yuzhmash military facility in Dnepropetrovsk (Ukrainian name – Dnepr) with the help of the newest medium-range missile system “Oreshnik”.

The Russian leader emphasized in his speech that no modern air defense system can repel such attacks, so in the future the Ukrainian people will be warned in advance to ensure the possibility of evacuation. More details – in material “socialbites.ca”.

Previously “Oreshnik” named The most powerful weapon in the world.
