“Starlink is now available in 120 countries,” he commented to the publication about the emergence of communications in the Polynesian state of Tuvalu.

Starlink is a global satellite system developed by SpaceX to provide high-speed broadband internet access to hard-to-reach and remote areas. The system is designed to provide internet access at a speed of 1 Gbit/s, which corresponds to the 5G standard. The first Starlink satellite was launched in 2019, and today there are thousands of satellites operating in low Earth orbit.

Reuters in December reportedHe said EU aviation manufacturers were considering forming a joint venture to compete with Musk’s Starlink satellite network. It was announced that the negotiations were still at an early stage; the joint project was codenamed “Bromo”. The agency also writes that the European sector has suffered heavy losses in the face of the rapid growth of the Starlink network.

Previously in Russia developed Kalinka system for identifying Starlink satellites.
