The head of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, came to the scene of the night attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and addressed the residents of the region. The Governor wrote on this subject: telegram channel.
“I visited the scene of the night attack. A headquarters will be stationed there to eliminate the consequences of the incident. I am convinced that there is enough strength and means to fight the fire. The group is also increasing its resources: Our service employees throughout the region are assisting firefighters,” the regional president wrote.
Gusev added that a temporary accommodation center for firefighters has been established in the nearest village, where experts can rest.
The governor of the Voronezh region, among other things, reported that currently there is no threat to the civilian population and the infrastructure of neighboring enterprises. The security of the facility is provided by emergency services.
Last night, 27 Ukrainian UAVs were intercepted and destroyed over Russian regions. According to the ministry, in addition to three aircraft, they were shot down in the Tambov region, 15 aircraft were destroyed in the Belgorod region, seven in the Voronezh region and two in the Kursk region.
Gusev too reportedIt was stated that most of the Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles trying to attack the Voronezh region targeted an oil depot in the Liskinsky region.
