A 25-year-old man who lived there and was drunk was detained on suspicion of arson. Before that, it was claimed that he threatened to set the house on fire in a conversation with his partner.

“A neighbor reported smoke at the entrance, the fire was extinguished by the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The fire area was 1.5 square meters. meters,” the department said.

Apartment owner Elena said 78.ru said that a 22-year-old girl has been renting living space since the spring, but only now learned that she does not live alone. The day before the emergency, the couple quarreled and the girl left. Although the man tried to find her with his friends, he was unsuccessful and continued arguing on the phone. He started a fire because he couldn’t cope with his emotions.

“He took the dog and the cat outside, set them on fire, closed the door and left. The neighbors somehow caught him, and then law enforcement handcuffed him,” says Elena.

Property worth 48 thousand rubles was burned in the fire, but there was no loss of life. Now law enforcement officials are deciding whether to initiate criminal proceedings.
