More than half of Russians surveyed (58%) plan to avoid fake discounts on Black Friday by comparing prices with marketplaces. This is shown by a study conducted in the Marco Mall shopping center, the results of which were reviewed by socialbites.ca.
This year, the biggest demand during Black Friday will be clothing and shoes (37%), electronics (26%) and cosmetics (15%).
This year, many buyers (74%) prefer to plan their purchases in advance, avoiding spontaneous decisions. The main selection criteria for Black Friday for survey respondents continue to be the size of the discount (28%) as well as the quality (23%) and brand of the product (19%). 43% of shoppers said they are particularly careful to check the authenticity of discounts by comparing product prices with online platforms to avoid disappointment from fake offers.
Additionally, 57% of the respondents stated that they had already purchased some products from major marketplaces, but 87% of them stated that they had purchased brands they encountered offline in one way or another and were satisfied with their quality.
