More than 11.3 thousand dogs have been vaccinated with the Multikan-8 complex vaccine in the Moscow region since the beginning of 2024, the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Food reported.
The ministry noted that the complex vaccine helps dogs develop immunity against distemper, adenovirus infections, parvovirus and coronavirus enteritis, leptospirosis and rabies.
Vaccination aims to create immunity in an animal that is resistant to various types of infections. The vaccine is a weakened or inactive form of the virus or bacteria that cannot harm the animal. Vaccination creates immunity against the specific disease for which it is administered.
