Medvedev visited Uralvagonzavod 19:23

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev visited Uralvagonzavod in Nizhny Tagil on a working tour. This was reported by TASS.

He thanked the facility’s employees for their work and emphasized that the business “runs like clockwork.”

“It was necessary to significantly increase capacity in a certain period,” Medvedev said.

He noted that some of the company’s key departments “essentially operate around the clock.”

The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council visited not only the workshops, but also the test site and observed the firing of the tank.

Medvedev also posted a video of the visit on his VKontakte page.

At the end of September, Medvedev was presented with systems to defeat small-sized drones developed by Russian enterprises. At the Kapustin Yar training ground in the Astrakhan region, politicians demonstrated the effectiveness of such machines as Typhoon-Air Defense, Diversion and improved ZU-23 installations. These settings hit simulated drone targets.

Former Governor of the Moscow Region visited Klimovsky Pipe Plant in Podolsk.
