An Argentinian woman filed a lawsuit in family court to stop financial support for her 22-year-old daughter. According to his mother, he doesn’t work or study anywhere, so she doesn’t want to give him more money to live on.
Judge Maria Laura Dample noted that according to the Argentine Civil Code, parents are obliged to provide care for their children until the age of 25 if their children are educated or cannot support themselves. However, the 22-year-old did not provide evidence that her studies prevented her from finding a job.
In addition, the girl herself did not appear in court to defend her position.
