A Briton recently decided to travel from Warsaw to London on the LOT flight but ran into difficulties as wheelchairs were not allowed on board.
“Wow. The year is 2024 and I had to crawl on the floor of the Polish airline LOT plane to go to the toilet,” the correspondent shared on social networks.
He added that the flight attendants apologized to him. However, they were unable to resolve the issue due to the airline’s internal rules.
The airline said suitable equipment is available for people with disabilities on long-haul flights. However, they are currently testing options for people with disabilities.
