During the autumn school holidays, one in six parents plans to take time off to spend more time with their children. One in five mothers and one in eight fathers will take paid or unpaid leave, reports RT with reference to the study.
Analysts have found that the intention to take a vacation during the autumn holidays directly depends on the age of children – the younger the children, the more often parents want to spend time with them. Thus, 17 percent of parents of primary school students and 12 percent of secondary school students, 10-11. Only 4 percent of first grade students go on vacation.
At the same time, 70% of parents said they planned not to take leave in the fall, while another 15% said they would decide later.
The survey by job search service Superjob is based on responses from 1.6 thousand Russians who are parents of school-age children.
