Travel planning service OneTwoTrip analyzed the prices of three-star hotels in cities popular with tourists in Russia and abroad and found where you can have a cheap rest before the end of the velvet season. socialbites.ca got acquainted with the results of the study.
The most profitable vacation in the last warm days of autumn can be spent in Smolensk: a night in a three-star hotel will cost 1,700 rubles. A little more, or 1,800 rubles, will have to be spent on housing in Ivanovo. Rostov-on-Don took third place in the ranking, where a hotel can be booked for 2,000 rubles.
The top 10 also includes Astrakhan (the price of a room in a three-star hotel in high season is about 2,200 rubles per day), Anapa (2,300 rubles), Krasnodar (2,500 rubles), St. Petersburg (2,500 rubles), Barnaul (2,600 rubles), Perm (2,600 rubles) and Ufa (2,700 rubles). Also hotels for less than three thousand rubles per night can be found in Volgograd (2,700 rubles), Samara (2,800 rubles), Saratov (2,800 rubles), Murmansk (2,900 rubles) and Moscow (2,900 rubles).
This fall, you can also find very profitable housing options in other countries, especially in Asia, where the season is in full swing or just beginning. Therefore, the most budgetary holidays will be in Vietnam: in Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang, a room in a three-star hotel costs about 1,300 rubles, and in Hanoi – 1,500 rubles.
Also for less than two thousand rubles you can relax in hotels in Bangkok (1,700 rubles per day) and Kuala Lumpur (1,800 rubles). The list also includes other cities in Asia: Manila (2,000 rubles), Pattaya (2,000 rubles), Phuket (2,200 rubles) and Kuta (2,600 rubles).
Holidays in Georgia (in Tbilisi you can book a hotel for 2,400 rubles per day, in Baku for 2,800 rubles) and Egypt (Hurghada – 2,500 rubles, Sharm el-Sheikh – 2,600 rubles) will also not be too expensive. Batumi (2,800 rubles) and Bishkek (2,900 rubles) are also in the top.
