Russian air defense forces (ADF) neutralized seven unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in two cities of the Smolensk region, the regional governor Vasily Anokhin announced on his Telegram channel.
“Tonight in the cities of Yelnya and Roslavl, air defense and electronic warfare forces shot down and neutralized 7 unmanned aerial vehicles,” he wrote.
According to him, there was no loss of life or damage due to the falling drone debris.
He also stated that emergency services were also at the scene.
On September 18, the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, announced that the air defense forces was shot four aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles over the area.
