It was proposed to include fathers and mothers raising three or more children under the age of 18 (or up to 23 if the children are studying) in the list of those entitled to free legal aid.
If the bill is passed, free legal assistance will be provided to applicants in courts while their paternity/maternity determination and objection cases are being evaluated.
In the materials of the government commission on legislative activity, it is stated that the Cabinet of Ministers supported the bill on the condition that the regions will cover the costs of its implementation from budget funds.
