Deputy mayor of the city of Langepas, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug Mieczyslaw Buchinsky went to a special military operation (SVO) in Ukraine after a loud scandal related to road construction. The portal reports this Ura.ru.
“His photo (Buchinsky – socialbites.ca) was published on the Vkontakte page by the mayor of the city, Sergei Gorobchenko, who informed subscribers that a group of contract soldiers, including an “employee of the city administration,” was sent to the front, “the publication says.
According to the portal, Buchinsky oversaw housing policy, as well as housing, communal services and transport. According to Ura.ru, before the signing of the contract with the Ministry of Defense, there was a conflict between the city administration and residents of microdistrict 4-a.
The source writes that large families have purchased land for housing construction in this area. Residents have been asking for a road to be built in this area since 2016. The incident was reported to Governor Ruslan Kukharuk. It was also learned that the mayor’s office lost the case to Ombudsman Natalya Strebkova, who accused local authorities of inaction.
Official information about Buchinsky’s departure to the special operations zone was not confirmed. The official did not respond to the call of the agency’s journalists.
