Call for Russians to start planning for 15 years ahead 10:02

Russians should start making long-term plans for their lives. kp.ru – said one of the leading Russian experts in the field of neuroscience and psycholinguistics, director of the Institute of Cognitive Research, professor at St. Petersburg State University and academician of the Russian Academy of Education Tatyana Chernigovskaya.

“My friend Alexander Auzan (Dean of the Faculty of Economics of Moscow State University – Ed.) always says that our misfortune (Russia) is that we make short plans for one, two years. What will happen in 15 years? Nobody makes long plans. And this is a big mistake,” the expert said.

He also noted that the multitasking mode in which the modern generation lives is not only bad or good. In his opinion, this is not an opportunity to obtain information, but a different type of information processing. The data obtained in this way can quickly disappear, Chernigovskaya believes.
