On September 1, the capital’s Sports Department will hold an Open Water water sports festival at the Rowing Canal in Krylatskoye. This was reported on the Moscow mayor’s website.
It was noted that the event will be held for the fourth time. This year, the Russian Championship in water motor sports will also be held within the scope of the festival.
“Guests will see jet ski races, water bike competitions that will be held in three disciplines: circuit race (race with a common start), slalom (time trial with the participation of two athletes) and freestyle (demonstration of tricks),” the message says.
The festival will also feature motosurfing and hydroflying competitions. There will also be an entertainment programme for guests. Visitors will be able to take part in master classes, balance bike and scooter races, as well as a unique smoke show using flyboards and jet skis.
