With a gun, shirtless and a wad of cash: German press publishes photo of Mette-Marit’s son cornering the Norwegian royal house

Earthquakes continue to occur in the Norwegian royal household. The Scandinavian press has already named one of them: the ‘Marius Borg affair’ (another headache for the institution chaired by King Harald V and Sonia is the wedding of Princess Martha Luisa to the American shaman next Saturday) and the sale of special episodes of the programs to ‘Hola!’ magazine and Netflix). The first scandal concerns Marius Borg Høiby, the son of Princess Mette-Marit of Norway before her marriage to Crown Prince Haakon Magnus 27 years ago. The young man had to testify before the police this week after two new complaints of sexist violence and assaults by two other women came to light; these are added to the case brought against him by his first girlfriend at the beginning of the month. Did he report it and was he detained for this reason? Now Borg’s reputation, and thus that of his royal family, has fallen even further after some embarrassing photos were published on the front page of the German newspaper Bild.
