Pakistani army and law enforcement agencies have killed at least 21 extremists in response to terror attacks in Balochistan province. This was reported by TASS With reference to the Inter-Ministerial Public Relations Service of the country’s armed forces.
“The security forces quickly and successfully intervened in the terrorists’ malicious plans, killing 21 terrorists during the clearing operations and ensuring the protection of the local population,” the statement said.
A wave of terrorist attacks began in Balochistan province on Sunday evening, with extremists targeting military recruiting stations, police stations and the region’s transport infrastructure.
During the day, there were reports of terror activity in cities including Suntsar, Mastung, Panjgur, Kalat, Pasni, Sibi, Quetta, Turbat and Bela.
The Balochistan Liberation Army, a group banned in Pakistan, claimed responsibility for the attacks.
