Scholz vows to speed up deportations after failures exposed by Solingen attack

“Fue terrorismo, terrorismo contra todos nosotros (…) Siento ira y rabia hacia los islamistas. Algo así no puede volver a ocurrir”, aseguró este lunes el canciller alemán, Olaf Scholz, desde la plaza de Solingen donde el pasado viernes tres personas murieron apuñaladas por un presunto ‘soldado’ de Estado Islámico (EI). Que alguien como el autor confeso del atentado, un sirio de 26 años, siguiera en el país tras frustrarse su expulsión es una de las cosas que no deben volver a suceder. En primer lugar, porque esas personas seguirían vivas. En segundo, porque el caso de Assi al H. refleja el cúmulo de obstáculos burocráticos, errores o negligencias que complican el plan anunciado hace meses por Scholz para las “deportaciones a gran escala” de refugiados radicalizados, migrantes irregulares que cometan delitos graves o los que no cumplen los requisitos para poder quedarse en el país.
