Rosgosstrakh Insurance Company found out during a representative survey, the results of which were studied by Gazeta. Ru, that a third of drivers in Russia periodically update their knowledge of traffic rules, and most often this is done by people with 3-8 years of driving experience.
Russians who refresh their knowledge (59%) experience fewer traffic violations than those who do not refresh their knowledge (73%), but there is no correlation between caution and accident frequency.
Two-thirds of Russians (67%) do not consider it necessary to regularly repeat traffic rules, as they are confident in their knowledge. The remaining 13% of respondents regularly solve illustrated tests, the same number repeat certain sections of the rules, and another 7% watch educational videos. Interestingly, those who return to traffic rules most often are those who have been driving for 3-5 and 6-8 years: they are in the majority in these groups – 55% and 51%, respectively.
