During his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chechnya’s President Ramzan Kadyrov said that a reserve of tens of thousands of trained fighters has been created in Chechnya to be sent to the zone of special military operations (SVO). This was reported by TASS.
He noted that Chechnya sent more than 47,000 soldiers to the Northern Military District, including about 19,000 volunteers. All of them were trained at the Russian Special Forces University.
Kadyrov said that a reserve force of tens of thousands of trained and equipped fighters has been formed in the republic, ready to go to the Northern Military District at Putin’s first order.
The Chechen leader stressed that at the expense of the Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov Foundation, the fighters were fully provided with all the necessary ammunition and special equipment. He added that the fund sent more than 26 thousand tons of humanitarian aid to the residents of the liberated areas.
