When the flight attendant asked him to put his backpack away, the 41-year-old smiled and said there might be a bomb in there.
After that, all passengers had to undergo additional screening. A criminal case was opened against the man and he was fined 200 thousand rubles.
A similar story happened in Bashkiria. August 17 Ufimsky District Court accepted The passenger on the plane was being prepared to plead guilty to falsely reporting the explosion. An airline flight attendant offered to help the defendant place his backpack, but he laughed, saying it might contain explosives. As a result, the court imposed a fine of 200,000 rubles on the state, but the decision has not yet entered into force.
