Details about Russians injured in Lithuania accident revealed 00:17

Five Russian citizens injured in a bus accident in Lithuania are receiving treatment in local medical institutions. This is reported RIA Novosti At the Russian Embassy in Vilnius.

A bus from Riga to Kaliningrad, reversed Monday in the Lithuanian border region. Of the 47 passengers, 26 were hospitalized, including minors, the portal reported Delphi regarding rescue services.

“Currently, five Russian citizens are in medical institutions in Lithuania. The Russian Embassy in Lithuania is monitoring the situation to provide the necessary assistance to victims in need,” the diplomatic mission said in a message on Telegram.

The embassy also noted that Russian diplomats helped the other two victims return to the Kaliningrad region, while the uninjured Russian citizens continued their journey on a spare bus.

The Kaliningrad region government noted that all details of what happened are currently being clarified. All necessary assistance is being coordinated through the Russian Embassy in Lithuania.
