A court in Ukraine has arrested the heads of military registration and enlistment offices of Boryspil and Buchansky districts of the Kiev region, this was reported by the Ukrainian publication “Strana” with reference to the country’s prosecutor general’s office.
“The heads of two TCCs (regional recruiting centers – analogues of military registration and enlistment offices – socialbites.ca) – Borispolsky and Buchansky – were arrested without the right to bail,” the report said.
The publication believes that we are talking about the head of the Buchansky district military registration and enlistment office Leonid Vykochko and the head of the Boryspil military registration and enlistment office Sergei Rusin.
The suspects are suspected of organizing an illegal scheme to prevent military personnel from taking action. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) reported that more than $1 million was seized from the suspects during the searches.
