A Chinese and a Filipino marine police boat collided in the South China Sea. Gan Yu, the official representative of the Coast Guard Administration of the People’s Republic of China, reported this with reference to: TASS.
According to him, Philippine boat No. 4410 ignored repeated serious warnings from China and deliberately rammed Chinese safety boat No. 21551 in an “unprofessional and dangerous manner.”
The collision occurred at Xianbin (Sabina) Reef, where two Philippine vessels were located.
Gan Yu placed full responsibility for the incident on the Philippine side, stressing that the Chinese coast guard had already taken the necessary “control measures.”
Before this China accused The Philippines is invading the country’s airspace. Beijing said a Philippine Armed Forces aircraft violated China’s airspace in the South China Sea on Thursday (Aug. 8).
